These breasts are a bit spicy so if you or any of your family members are not a fan of spicy foods, simply leave out the crushed red pepper and replace the chili oil with olive oil. If you want just a little spice then simply use a bit less of the pepper and oil.
Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp hot chili oil

Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp hot chili oil
- First preheat the oven to 350F.
- Then butterfly the chicken breasts. To do this simply cut each breast in half lengthwise so that there are 6 thin breasts.
- Next in a large cup mix together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, chili oil, and crushed red pepper. Stir until everything is completely blended.
- Then place the chicken in a large ungreased baking dish and pour the sauce evenly on top.
- Then using a fork, lightly poke each breast across the top. This helps the flavor of the sauce absorb into the chicken. Also, flip each breast around so that they are all evenly coated on both sides with the sauce.
- Then place them in the preheated oven and let them cook for 40 minutes.
- After 40 minutes carefully remove the baking dish. Then using a basting brush, lightly baste the tops of the breasts with the sauce from the bottom of the dish.
- Next, place them back into the oven and broil them on high for 2 minutes, or until the tops are lightly brown.
- Then remove them and serve. This chicken makes a great meal served with steamed rice and a vegetable.
