Hotel Transylvania
After the death of his beloved wife, Count Dracula has been living happily with his “young” daughter, Mavis, and running a resort in the distant countryside for their monster guests, free from any human intervention. But havoc ensues when a human, Jonathan, unwittingly happens upon the ghoulish hotel and its occupants and is immediately smitten with Mavis. Will Jonathan make it out alive before the find out his true identity? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Hotel Transylvania”.
· Dracula is headed toward Mavis’ room to wish her a happy birthday. He’s walking down the hallway and passes by the other room doors along the way. As he passes a witch in the corridor, she says “good morning your imminence” and the shrunken head on the door handle replies “maid, clean this room”. The number showing on the door is 174 but Dracula keeps walking. When he eventually stops, he’s now standing in front of Mavis’ room which is 174.
· A terrified Johnny runs into the room where Glen stays under the trap door. Dracula is standing in the doorway and there is no shrunken head on the door handle. A few moments later, when Dracula is trying to escort Mavis out of the room, he opens the door and there is no a shrunken head dangling from the handle.
· A group of visitors is playing Bingo at the hotel. Eunice announces “N27” as the next number, but when she stamps her card, she marks the number at the bottom of the “I” column.
· Quasimodo has captured Johnny. When he’s running with him, there is a gag over Johnny’s mouth. The gag is around Johnny’s mouther when Quasimodo is roasting him over the open flame. But, when Dracula runs in and rescues him, the gag has suddenly vanished.
“Hotel Transylvania” (2012) features the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, David Spade, CeeLo Green and Jon Lovitz. It runs 91 minutes and is rated PG for some rude humor, action and scary images.
