Despicable Me 2
Once the world’s greatest super villain, Gru has settled into a normal life as dad to daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes. But it’s back to business when the Anti Villain League sends Agent Lucy to convince Gru to help them find his arch nemesis, El Macho, who’s, unbeknownst to him, been slowly kidnapping his Minions for a sinister plan of his own. Catching the bad guy isn't the only thing on his mind, however, when Margo becomes enamored with El Macho's young son. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Despicable Me 2”.
∙ Lucy arrives and Gru tries to shoot her with the freeze ray gun. When she uses the lipstick taser, Gru drops the freeze ray on the sidewalk next to his feet. But when Lucy tries to pick him up a few moments later, the freeze ray has disappeared.
∙ At the bakery, Lucy karate chops the cupcakes and dices the on the counter. None of the purple icing ever gets on her, even when she tries to wipe the icing off of Gru’s face with her hands, there’s never a trace on her. Also during this scene, when one of the Minions gets slammed against the counter covered with icing, when he stands up, he’s completely clean.
∙ Gru and Lucy break into Salsa and Salsa during the middle of the night. In the overhead and front views, there’s nothing in front of them. But suddenly Gru’s leg hits a white rope that crosses the room in front of them which rings the bell on the wall. Gru runs around the room with the chicken but never trips the rope again.
∙ When Eduardo a.k.a. El Macho talks to Gru and Lucy in the cupcake shop, he opens his shirt, revealing the Mexican flag tattoo on his chest. But, during the rest of the movie, when his shirt is open and when he’s wearing his wrestling attire, there’s no tattoo on his chest.
“Despicable Me 2” (2013) features the voices of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Benjamin Bratt, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Ken Jeong, Steve Coogan, Elsie Fisher and Dana Gaier. It runs 98 minutes and is rated PG for rude humor and mild action.
