Now You See Me
Four struggling street magicians each receive a mysterious invitation to become part of "The Eye". A year later, the four reemerge as the Four Horsemen, modern day Robin Hoods who seemingly pull off a bank heist during their show and give the proceeds to audience members. But with FBI agent, Dylan Rhodes, and Alma Dray from Interpol on the case, the two must delve into the world of magic and illusion, where nothing is what it appears to be in order to track down the four magicians before their third and final performance. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Now You See Me”.
∙ Alma Dray is first shown talking to Agent Fuller and Dylan in the office after the Las Vegas heist. Her hair is in a bun on the back of her head. When she walks into interrogation room where Etienne is being held, her hair is pulled back into a pony tail.
∙ Daniel Atlas has both hands cuffed while Dylan and Alma are interrogating him. In the wider view of all three in the room, when Dylan tells Daniel to answer the question, Daniel’s left hand cuff in noticeably loose.
∙ At the end of the movie, Alma is on the bridge walking toward the bench. In the farther view, one person can be seen sitting on the bench while another person is standing next to them, talking. It cuts to a closer view of Alma as she approaches the bench and sits down and there’s no one there.
∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! When Dylan and Alma first talk to Thaddeus Bradley, he tells the story of Lionel Shrike. He says that Shrike died in the East River. But, at the end of the movie, when Alma opens the newspaper and Dylan is talking to her, the headline on the lower right side of the paper reads “Hudson River Becomes Watery Grave”.
“Now You See Me” (2013) stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Melanie Laurent, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Michael Kelly and Common. It runs 115 minutes and is rated PG-13 for language, some action and sexual content.
