X-Men - Days Of Future Past
Mutants are being hunted down and destroyed by robots known as Sentinels. In an attempt to prevent their annihilation, Charles Xavier and Magneto concoct a plan to send Wolverine back to 1973 to stop the chain of events that result in Mystique being captured and her DNA used to power the lethal robots. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for in “X-Men – Days of Future Past”.
• Logan wakes up in 1973 and is in bed with the “boss’ daughter”. In the overhead view, her right arm is draped over him. Logan picks up her arm with his right hand while his left hand is on his chest. It cuts to a right side view and Logan is holding her hand with both hands.
• Charles has retreated to his room after his first run-in with Logan. While he’s giving himself a shot, the view of his room shows the picture of Raven on the table with an ashtray, book and candle lined up across the table. They’re still that way when Charles looks over at the photo. But when it shows a closer view of the picture, the photo is in front of the candle.
• Charles, Logan, Hank and Peter have broken into the Pentagon to rescue Erik. In the close-up of Peter’s hands when he places the meal tray in the chute, he can be seen wearing a wrist watch. The watch is gone a few moments later when his hands are shown against the glass before it breaks.
• Erik is getting ready to kill a wounded Raven when Beast stops him. In the view from the “hand held video”, Raven is on the left of the screen and can be seen rolling on her knees in an attempt to stand up. It switches back to the regular camera view just before Erik and Beast fall into the fountain and Raven is still shown on laying on the ground.
• Erik shoots Raven on the left inner side of her right leg, below the knee, and then pulls the bullet out of the same hole. A while later, when the nurse is wrapping her leg at the hospital, part of the gauze is on the right side of her leg with blood on it.
“X-Men – Days Of Future Past” (2014) stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Evan Peters, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry and Anna Paquin. It runs 131 minutes and is rated PG-13 for sequences of intense sci-fi violence and action, some suggestive material, nudity and language.
