Here are some great GREEN homemade cleaning recipes!

You will need some basic supplies and ingredients to make these recipes. You will need, water, Castile Soap (bar and liquid), lemon and lemon juice, Borax, Super Washing Soda, baking soda, white vinegar, essential oils, empty containers and empty spray bottles.


FLOOR CLEANER:
1 gallon hot water
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tsp Castile Soap
2 tbsp Washing Soda
10-20 drops essential oil (lemon, orange, etc.)

Mix this all in a bucket and wash with your mop. Good for all floor types. No rinsing required.


HARDWOOD FLOOR CLEANER:
1 gallon hot water
1/2 cup white vinegar
2-3 drops essential oil

Mix in a bucket and wash with your mop. No rinsing required.


CARPET REFRESHER:
2 cups baking soda
10-20 drops essential oil

Mix in a jar with a shaker style lid. Sprinkle on carpet. Let sit for 15 minutes. The vacuum.


GLASS/MIRROR CLEANER:
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
3 drops essential oil (peppermint)

Mix ingredients in a spray bottle. Use with a microfiber cloth for best results.


ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER:
1/2 cup white vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
2 cups water
1/2 tsp Castile Soap

Mix in a spray bottle. Wipe clean. No rinsing required.


ALL-PURPOSE SCRUB:
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tbsp Castile Soap
Add enough water for paste-like (or looser, if desired) consistency.

Mix together in small bowl. Use with a cloth. Rinsing needed.


DISINFECTANT CLEANER:
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 cups hot water
1 tsp washing soda
10 drops melalueca oil

Mix in spray bottle. Spray and wipe clean. No rinsing required.


LAUNDRY DETERGENT:
1 bar Castile Soap (grated)
2 cups Borax
2 cups Super Washing Soda
1 cup baking soda
30 drops essential oil

Mix together and place in air tight container (if using oil). Use just 1 tbsp per laundry load.
