Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 in Hong Kong

Guest Author - Taisha Turner

The Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 is coming to Hong Kong. It is the second time Hong Kong will host the games. The first time was in 1997 when Fiji won. Whom will win this month and has their name inscribed on the Melrose Cup?

The Melrose Cup is coveted by the twenty-four teams who will converge on Hong Kong. All teams will vie for the nine-carat yellow gold cup.

Twenty-four of the world best seven-a-side teams will play in Hong Kong Stadium. The sporting carnival is held March 18-20, 2005. The stadium is the venue for the annual tournament.

The City of Hong Kong will open its arms to the world visitors and players. There are parties and games on schedule for the weekend. Enjoy the fun while in Hong Kong.

Invest in a passport holder. I prefer the kind which is waterproof and worn as belt around the waist. It is worn under your clothes and not seen by others. There is a zipper compartment divided for passport, money and credit cards. It is so comfortable the wearer can sleep with it around the waist.

The type which hang about the neck invites troubles and who wants someone pulling on a strong cord around the neck. Remember to carry the amount of money needed for the day’s activities in your pocket and the rest placed safely away.
