Pennsylvania Dutch Stewed Dried Corn This delicious Pennsylvania Dutch recipe is made from Cope´s dried, sweet corn. If Cope's corn is not available in your area, you can order it online at Cope Foods.Com- 2 cups Cope's dried corn
- 4 cups water
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 T. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Preparation - In a large saucepan, soak the corn in water over night, or use boiling water and soak for approximately 1 hour. Stir in the brown sugar, butter & salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes. Add the milk and simmer for about more 10 minutes before serving.
