Heavenly Harvest Sugar Free Wheat Crackers
Most crackers are full of starch and little else. Heavenly Harvest crackers give you a nice supply of fiber, zero saturated fats and a good crunch.
The crackers are circular in shape with little ruffled edges, and are "fluffy", not flat. This gives them a nice shape for holding up cheese, slices of meat and dip.
For a serving of 6 crackers you get 8g of fiber, 3g of protein and 9g of net carbs. That's a bit more than a gram per cracker. While this might be high for someone in induction (the first 2 weeks of a low carb diet), it's quite fine for anybody looking for a healthy lifestyle.
The crackers were developed by Jorge Guevara, a baker who came down with Type 2 Diabetes. He worked hard to find a recipe that would keep him healthy but would retain the same flavors of the higher starch crackers.
I really do enjoy these greatly. They are crispy, full of flavor and don't taste "cardboardy" at all. It's a great way to ensure you get enough fiber in your diet.
Well recommended.
