Casting Calls for August 18 2007
This week we explore the auditions for a “Couples Show” on ABC, a Docudrama Series looking for women who love men in jail, a new NBC Game Show, TVLand's The Next Great Supermodel, and HGTV & DIY Networks' new "Impossible Home Improvement Project"

ABC Couples Show (no dates given)
Calls are for couples who need a “tune-up”. I presume they do not want “The War of the Roses” movie types. The offer up these provocative questions:
Are you getting or sending mixed messages?
Frustrated? In search of the truth?
Has your sex life gone flat?
Is your partner not listening to you?

Who among us cannot answer ‘yes’ to one of those questions at some time or other? I guess they will have no scarcity of applicants and if you want to be one, then contact the casting department via telephone: 310-482-2641 -- or email them at: abccouples@theconlincompany.com

Unnamed Docudrama Series
They are looking for women who are in relationships with men behind bars – in prison, jail, incarcerated.
They state: “Whether you met before or during an incarceration I'd love to hear your story.”
If you have a story to tell, contact email: meredith@cmjprod.ca

NBC Casting Call for a New Game Show
The show is from Mark Burnett Productions and they want “fun, energetic, clever individuals.” Have they ever asked for “dull, stupid, wall-flowers”? Anyway, if that describes you (the fun, energetic, clever part) and you are over 18 years old, send your picture and contact information to
markburnettcasting@gmail.com

TVLand The Next Great Supermodel
TV Land and Wilhelmina Models, Inc. are looking for The Next Great Supermodel who is 35 and older! Score one for the Older & Wiser crowd! The prize for the winner here is a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models.
If you fit the bill and are interested, register online at TVLand/Casting/Modelsearch

HGTV & DIY Networks
HGTV & DIY Networks is looking for “Impossible” Home Improvement Projects.
Carter Oosterhouse is looking for “outgoing and energetic homeowners” in the Denver Metro area who are planning a small-scale renovation, but don’t know where to begin – and of in the middle of one, cannot figure out how to finish it.
BQ We need homeowners who have a compelling or sentimental reason behind their home improvement project, who already have a modest budget allocated for the renovation AND who have been told, “It Can’t Be Done.”
You could win a two-day home improvement project completed by you and a 5-person team headed by Carter Oosterhouse, along with $3000 of construction materials and all of the labor – as long as you are contributing yours. Remember that you will be working along with them.
To apply or nominate someone else, send an email with the information to: tks90046@sbcglobal.net

Enjoy and good luck!
