I know I promised you all a review on Destiny’s Child’s latest CD DESTINY FULFILLED a few weeks ago and I’m late, but the verdict is finally in. I actually loved the CD. Although they’ve gotten some mixed reviews, I have to say that the songs were more mature and I personally found a few songs hitting close to home. The music was okay, but the lyrics are what made me really like the CD.

The CD starts off with the up-tempo Lose My Breath and follows up with the hip-hop cut Soldier. I can’t go anywhere without hearingSoldier blasting from car speakers.

Besides those two mentioned above, here is a list of some of my other favorites:

If -Ladies this is the song to sing to the man you’re about to leave. It will let him know in no uncertain terms that he’s H-I-S-T-O-R-Y and the reason WHY. I found myself playing this one over and over again.

Girl -We all have been there. We’re either the one dishing out the advice or listening to it. This song makes me appreciate having friends and reinforces the bond of Sisterhood.

Is She the Reason -Sad song because the lyrics display a woman scorned. It’s never easy when a man cheats.

And last but not least Free-Imagine finally letting go of all of the baggage.

There are more songs on the CD, but the ones I mentioned are my personal favorites.

I really like the mature sound of the Destiny Fulfilled CD. Some CD buyers got a bonus CD that had some of Destiny Child’s previous hits.
