Heard one of those diet supplement ads promising quick and effortless weight loss without ever having to exercise, give up your favorite foods, and all that other stuff you’ve heard those hyped up products talk about.

It reminded me of where I was 10 years ago when I was 30 pounds over my ideal weight and 32% body fat. Back then the thought of having to wait around 6 months for 1 pound of weight loss per week was unbearable so like most people I caved in to the fad diets and an insane workout schedule. My quick fix mentality resulted in a not so quick weightloss of 30 pounds in 18 months.
