Totally Light Sugar-Free Pink Lemonade
It's incredibly important that you drink 8 glasses of water a day. Totally Light is a super way to help you do that, with 100% Vitamin C plus no calories.
Let's start with the obvious comparison. Crystal Light puts out a bunch of tasty flavors of sugar-free mixes, in convenient 2-quart powder sets. I'm sure it wasn't coincidence that now 4C has the same setup - sugar free, sweetened with Splenda, a set of 7 little tubs each ready to make 2 quarts of drink.
I suppose there's always the chance that 4C had Totally Light first, but I've seen Crystal Light ads for quite a long time, and only came across these Totally Light mixes recently.
In any case, on to the actual drink. The tubs make it super easy to just dump the mix into a pitcher and add water. No measuring or anything. Stir and you're ready to drink!
The pink lemonade is nicely pink in color, and has the fresh, citrus flavor of lemonade. In fact the first two ingredients in the mix are citric acid and natural lemon flavor. I really love these mixes in general. Sometimes water can get boring to drink - your tongue craves something fresh and new. The pink lemonade flavor is light, fresh, and very flavorful. It goes perfectly well with salads and other light meals.
In fact, I find that I can easily drink much more pink lemonade than I would water. It goes down much more smoothly. Maybe it's just that the flavor is good so I tend to drink more of it. Whatever the reason, that is a very good thing.
If you're looking to lose weight on any diet - or to stay healthy - you really need to make sure you get 8 glasses of water in you each day. Why is that? Your body needs water for every aspect of metabolism - every part of turning the fat cells in your body into energy and flushing them out of your body. Your joints need water to move smoothly, your blood needs water to flow around with nutrients. If you have proper water, your body can be more active, can burn more energy, can process food more efficiently, and can get that fat out of you.
So whatever drink you choose, make sure it has no calories, and that you drink ample amounts of it.
