Busch Light Low Carb Beer
Busch Light has a stronger flavor than other beers in this category, which can be good or bad depending on your taste buds. If you're a fan of Busch beer, you'll probably love this. If you hate Busch beer, chances are you won't like the light version either.
I found this to be medium body - not as watery as many of the other low carb beers. It is bright with a hint of bitterness, and a nice finish. Other tasters have reported they feel this is a quite reasonable beer.
When Busch Light first came out, it was 6.7g carbs, 110 calories, and 4.2% alcohol. Over the years they have adjusted the formula. The beer is now 3.2g carbs, 95 calories, and 4.1% alcohol. That's a fairly substantial change!
These medium-bodied low carb beers are important if you're going to drink the beer with food, to balance against the flavors of the food. Still, that's not to say that this is an incredibly heavy beer. It's still fairly light. So it does well for those hot summer afternoons when you've just mowed the lawn and want something light and fresh to drink.
All in all, a reasonable beer with a fairly low carb count. Recommended for that purpose.
