Chips Ahoy! 100 Calorie Packs
I really like these little packs. You know exactly what you're getting. 100 calories. 18g of carbs. Because the packs are all separate, you're not tempted to keep eating.
Note that this is NOT a healthy food :) Nobody is saying to eat these for meals. However, I accept that sometimes you really crave chocolate and for whatever reason don't have the sugar-free variety around. This is at least better than the super sugar filled "normal" variety.
The cookies are like little hexagonal ginger snaps, with a few little holes in them. The chips are small but you can definitely taste them. The texture is crunchy and ginger-snappy. It's got a nice flavor. I don't know that I would exactly call these "Chips Ahoy" but they are nice in their own way.
If you are trying to lose weight I would NOT have these around except as a way to wean yourself off of real cookies if you really find yourself eating real cookies a lot. In general, it is best to eat healthy food - not junk food.
However, if you're at your maintenance weight and want a snack that's "better than the rest" comparatively - or if you are in the weaning stage and this is at least better than your normal indulgence - then I'd recommend them as good. Remember, though, that you only eat X amount of food in a given day. You want as much of that X to be full of nutrients, so your body is as healthy as it can be. Every time you put junk cookie stuff into your stomach, you are doing that instead of eating something with vitamins in it. It's your own health that suffers as a result of those choices.
