The highly anticipated third solo album from Beyoncé will be released on November 18th, 2008 – a Spanish version of the album is also scheduled for release in February 2009. The album titled I Am… Sasha Fierce is a follow-up to her 2006 B’Day album which received critical acclaim debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and receiving three time platinum certification from the RIAA.

Her latest project is essentially a double album and will be released as a two-disc set – each disc said to reflect the two sides of Beyoncé. The first disc titled I Am… is an emotion-filled personal reflection of the real Beyoncé behind the mask. Meanwhile the second disc titled Sasha Fierce is a high energy glimpse at her on-stage alter ego. Together the two discs merge to create I Am… Sasha Fierce, an album which allows Beyoncé to stretch her artistic muscles and take a risk that could ultimately pay off big. With I Am… Sasha Fierce fans will find songs they can dance to as well as songs to which they can sit back and relate.

The first singles off I Am... Sasha Fierce are “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, and have both been receiving warm welcomes from radio stations, fans, and critics alike. While “If I Were a Boy” features powerful emotionally driven vocals and lyrics, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” is sassy and fun with totally danceable beats. Following the release of “If I Were a Boy” many critics have suggested that the song is possibly one of her best recordings to date, and recognition with a Grammy nod could very well be possible.

As Beyoncé prepares for the upcoming release of her new album, she is also preparing to hit the road for her world tour beginning late March 2009 – the tour is scheduled to run until November 2009. In a released statement at her album listening party Beyoncé appeared to be happy with the present and hopeful for the future, and from what I’ve heard with her first two singles I am also very hopeful for the future as it seems with I Am… Sasha Fierce Beyoncé is once again proving that she is irreplaceable.
