Beaded Rings and Woven Wire Jewelry

Beaded Rings and Woven Wire Jewelry
Beaded Rings by Jean Campbell, et all is Interweave's newest book about beaded rings, like all the Beadwork Creates Interweave books, it is gorgeously printed with full colors. It has a bunch of projects in it that are all very well thought out and explained and in a lot of different styles. Ring ideas can be tricky, but I like doing rings because they work up so quickly compared to a lot of other projects.
The materials for the projects are not hard to find, and you can really a learn a lot from the many artists who contributed to this book.
There is a good mix of projects for beginners and things to challenge and inspire more advanced bead artists.I love this series.

Woven Wire Jewelry by Linda L. Chandler and Christine R. Ritchey is definately not a beginner's book, although there are some beginner's projects in it. It is a good book though for people who want to stretch their skills. The projects are woven from wire, and mostly soldered at the ends, and some of them have PMC components, it offers tips for working with wire, and the technique is incredible looking. The section on PMC was very well written and not a bit scary. The ideas are great, and the finishing techniques are very professional looking.
Recommended for wire artists and people looking to expand their skills and abilities.
