We cannot do anything without energy. We use energy in almost everything like-lighting, cooling, transportation, cooking, traveling, even treatment. To make our lives comfortable, enjoyable and productive we are relying on energy, we have also granted it. We all must use energy resources wisely. We use energy will impact our environment on our own choices that we make, our lives as well as our future. We can save energy easily. We can use it more sensibly and we can do many things to use less energy-this is the basis of energy conservation.

Switching to illuminate energy efficient bulbs which perform same function and require less energy is known to all. This is the first step in which we use our energy in conserving and prolonging our energy resources. The energy consumption is reduced by energy conservation and for the population growth it needs the energy supply to keep up, also for that reason the energy demanded per capita. A huge load was placing on our energy resources and environment. We can do our duty simply by embracing an energy efficient lifestyle today and slow down our demand for more electricity. If the rest of the world become responsible and join us in the way we use less energy, by the year 2020 as the energy demand we could halve the projected growth in world.

Slowing climate change is also an important part of energy conservation. One of the biggest threats that our planet is facing today is climate change. It is happening and recently it is happening. Governments, businesses, individuals – everyone needs to work all together to tackle climate change. We all will be using less energy by switching our traditional light bulbs and for this we will need less electricity and climate change will speed up consequently by reducing the emissions.

Energy –savings devices are environment –friendly and it will help us to make our surroundings clean and green. It is our duty to be more careful while using energy and make out the areas where energy is getting wasted and as we are living in this wonderful world so it is our duty to inform everyone as far as possible about using less energy as we are using.
