The fall season is almost upon us. Most large of the high end cosmetic manufactures have their fall line available. From the makers of Smashbox to Chanel the season’s hottest colors are out. I’m disappointed that makers such as Revlon and Maybelline have yet to release their fall makeup collections. However it’s safe to say that they will soon follow.
What’s Hot?
Eyes
The eyes this season are dramatic with the smokey eye still in vogue. The difference is, instead of the smokey eyes in black, were seeing this look being done in seasons hottest colors.
Also hot off the runways is the glamour look of the winged eye, which was popular this past spring and still popular this fall.
Eyeshadow
The colors of the season are rich hues of plums, blues and pinks. Browns and the neutrals are classic colors that are in. Smashbox’s collection tends to focus on the the many shades of Grey
Bobbi Brown’s fall collection is an assortment of shades in shimmery metallic blues, greens plums and neutrals. They look absolutely fabulous. The ones pictured below is the Midnight Metallics and Forest Metallics.
Lips
Lips are bold and beautiful, as mentioned in my previous article Red Lipstick is in. Almost every single cosmetic manufacturer has developed a lip color in one of my favorite shades.
Although these are the new fall trends, I don't believe you need to wear a particular color just because it is now the it color. Express yourself, wear what the colors that you like
With all these shades it's easy to create a multitude of looks. Try picking one of the seasons colors and playing around with it. Above all, have fun!
