What Scents are Fragrance Focused and Smelling Good?
It's that time of the year when everything is blooming. Pollen, flowers, even love is blooming and smelling like sweetness in the air.
We're also being introduced to new scents in department and specialty stores. Here's what's making the news in the Fragrance Industry:
Ivanka Trump debuted her first fragrance. And what do you suppose it's called? You guessed it, Ivanka Trump!
This beauty is a floral oriental blend of bergamot, apple and pink peppercorn. The heart of this scent features jasmine, rose and peach blossom, golden amber, creamy vanilla, patchouli and cedarwood. That packs a lot of power, doesn't it?
Guess who's joined forces? That's right, Coty and Guess. They've collaborated for Guess Girl and created a sexy new scent inspired by the iconic Guess Girl style.
It begins with notes of raspberry, nectar, melon and bergamot mist. Its heart includes Brazilian paradise orchid, acacia flower and lily. It's grounded with Australian sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla.
Adam Levine, you know him as front man of Maroon 5 and celebrity judge from the Voice. He's teamed up with ID Perfumes to develop his new signature scent. It's a fragrance for women, ladies. It's called Adam Levine Eau de Parfum.
It's a floral woodsy scent combining Indian jasmine petals, Australian sandalwood, rose petals and creamy vanilla.
Men's Scents
Chris Paul will be doing more than shooting hoops for the Los Angeles Clippers. He will be joining Avon as the face of its new Men's fragrance, Untouchable. It's set to launch Father's Day 2013.
Adam Levine didn't stop with a women's scent, he's also created Adam Levine Eau de Toilette for men. It has notes of mandarin, grapefruit and lemongrass that's intensified by amber, sandalwood and cedar wood.
UFC star, Randy Couture has added, Xtreme Couture to his brand empire. Opening with a clean and fresh citrus accord, it folds into middle notes of peppercorn and ginger. The dry down, includes notes of musk, sandalwood and amber for a sensual, yet masculine finish.
