Less Popular Baby Names
When we look for data on popular baby names, we tend to find lists of certain expected lengths -- lists of the top 10 names, say, or the top 20 names.
But what about those unfortunate names that don't quite make the cut-off? We don't often (well, ever) hear anything about those names.
So, in the interest of fairness, I've collected some the 11th, 21st, 51st and 101st most popular baby names in the U.S. from years past -- names that were just one spot away from making their respective top 10, 20, 50 and 100 lists. I've also thrown in a few almost-made-it names from England/Wales (E), Ireland (I) and Scotland (S).
