Cole Puffinburger Kidnapped
A six year old boy taken at gunpoint from his Las Vegas, Nevada home by three armed men posing as police officers. The beautiful boy with crew cut blond hair, big blue-eyes and metal rimmed glasses sports a toothy smile in his school pictures, may be the only innocent victim in this horrid scenario.
A national Amber Alert which had been activated for Cole Puffinburger is currently deactivated. The little boy was kidnapped last Wednesday morning by three men armed with guns and thick accents. Cole who is in first grade attends Stanford Elementary School and is surely missed by his classmates and teachers. Cole is 3 feet 11 inches tall. He weighs approximately 48 pounds. When taken Cole was dressed in a dark-colored sweatshirt, jeans and Cole was wearing his metal-rimmed prescription glasses.
A revenge kidnapping involves the children of people involved in drugs or other illicit activities. The mother and the mother’s fiance were unharmed and bound up at the scene. The boy’s grandfather is believed to have taken millions of dollars from the Mexican drug trade and he may ultimately be responsible for what happens to Cole. Cole may have been kidnapped in revenge for his grandfather’s drug activity.
The boy’s grandfather, Clemons F. Tinnemeyer who is 51 has been arrested in Riverside California. He has been processed into the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Central Detention facility; charges are unknown at this time. Currently he is not eligible for bail. Tinnemeyer had not been in contact with his family for several months. The family reported him missing approximately one month before Cole’s kidnapping.
Cole’s father, Robert Tinnemeyer, has made a public plea today to the people who took his son. Like his father it is incomprehensible as to how or why anyone would involve an innocent six year old boy for revenge in the drug trade. Robert Puffinburger, Cole’s father is asking the kidnappers to please let his son go. A police news conference is scheduled later today around 5 p.m.
I pray for Cole’s safe return. Angel’s above Cole, Angels below Cole, Angels all around Cole to keep him safe. I pray Cole is soon returned to his family. Please pray for Cole’s safe return.
