6 med. eggs, beaten
2 c. plus 6 tbsp. sugar
4 c. milk
2 c. half and half
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. heavy cream
Strawberries or peaches
Combine eggs and sugar; beat well. Add milk, half and half, salt, vanilla and heavy cream; stir a few minutes to dissolve sugar. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Serve with crushed sweetened strawberries or peaches. Makes 1 gallon.
