Men in Tatting - Mark Myers
When building our tatting pattern reference library we must not forget the gentlemen of tatting. Some of those who are published tatting designers may be known to you already. The following is but a start on the list of male tatters which is in the process of being researched. I welcome information on additional male tatters known to you. Please submit name and info to AKTATTER@aol.com. Thanks.
Mark Myers:
Mark Myers Here is the book that every new tatter has longed for! Wonderfully illustrated diagrams and photos showing every motion of the hand and thread as together they build double stitches, introduce picots and form the work into rings. Focusing only on one shuttle work, Mark leads the new tatter into understanding the basic construction of tatting and builds on that foundation so that every beginner will be producing lacy designs, artwork and even gifts in only a few sessions with the shuttle. With this guide the new tatter will be able to produce the many projects and edgings included in the books. Each pattern has black and white photos and color numbered diagrams. 8½" x 11", comb binding, 25 pages, 17 great patterns. Please contact tatman@tat-man.net Mark Myers for info. | |||
