Although public perception of psychic information has improved some over the years, there are still a lot of questions and misconceptions.

Generally speaking, psychic abilities are usually seen as either a parlor game or something revealing everything there is to know about a particular situation. They are broad perspectives and neither are quite accurate. Each adult person and child has sixth sense abilities. It is something that needs attention, like anything else we want to cultivate.

One of my favorite defensive statements is, “If you’re so psychic (or anyone else for that matter) how come (A) happened and why didn’t you prevent it?

First of all, "psychic" is just a term and one many of us could probably live without. But for argument sake, someone who has cultivated genuine psychic or clairvoyant abilities is going to usually pick up information through mass or individual consciousness. Some of our larger events are going to be mass conscious based where as that immediate feeling we get about a person we like or dislik is going to be an example of soul or individual consciousness.

Either can contain what is known as “The willing victim” meaning, a soul or group of souls understanding the effects of an event and partaking willingly. The culminating energy or situation is something that just can not or should not be altered. It is usually a sacrifice for the higher or overall good. Before it can transform to this higher good, the established course must first run. Many examples of this can be found both biblically and historically and can even be seen in movies such as The Chronicles of Narnia.

Other variables such as information centering around someone close to us or daily responsibilities can put up inadvertent resistance. We may be distracted or make a conscious decision not to explore something we'd rather not know.

Deception and a change of plans can also make an impact. When someone lies, unless there is an overwhelming sensation of contradiction, it will be taken at face value or simply left unchallenged. If an underlying threat of some kind exists, emotionally or physically, the resistance will reveal itself more and more. Then it is up to the individual receiving the information as to whether or not it needs to be investigated further.

The most significant thing to remember is, if you receive information reflecting specific events such as a relationship or stumbling into a lucrative event, don't sit back waiting for them to happen. Good or bad, the energy remains proximate but is aligning as a probable manifest. It is physical intervention then that will initiate the transformation.
