7 oz. uncooked elbow, shell or ring macaroni
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1 c. sliced gherkins
3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook macaroni as directed on package, drain. Cook peas as directed on package, drain.
Mix macaroni, peas, cheese, gherkins, mayonnaise and onion; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serves 6 to 8.
