Party Planning Newsletter

Hello Party People!! I am so happy that you’ve decided to subscribe to the Party Planning newsletter. Whoever said getting there is half the fun, must have been a Party Planner. I intend to share with you lots of stress free and fun ideas so that you’ll enjoy planning your parties and have fun at them too. Entertaining and creating pretty spaces doesn’t always mean elaborate and it certainly doesn’t always mean expensive. Aside from the menu and decorations there are other things that need your attention. Things like how to keep the party going.

Consider me your virtual party stylist. In my weekly updates and articles I want to guide you through the process from putting together the guest list to creating a perfect dessert buffet. The Party Planning newsletter will be published every Thursday. I promise your email information will never be sold or used for anything other than you receiving this newsletter.

Once you subscribe you should receive a test message. If you don‘t let me know. I don’t want you to miss any of the information that I want to share with you. Please email me with any questions, requests, or suggestions you may have and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.

One of the most frequently asked questions is:

How do I throw a fabulous party on a budget?
First things first; what is your theme? Are you celebrating a special occasion or do you just want to have some of your favorite people over and show them a good time. From there, establish your guest list. After that, take inventory of what you have on hand. This includes food, decoration, seating etc. Always try to use what you already have.

Make use of the hobby stores in your town. They always have coupons that come in the newspaper or are available online. Most even offer mobile apps for your iphone or android, which makes clipping coupons or printing them obsolete. Also, don’t overlook thrift stores. You can find a bevy of hidden treasures from décor to serving pieces very inexpensively.

One way to keep your guests present is to engage all of their senses. When they arrive what do you want their eyes to be drawn to and what will they smell? What type of music will you play? Consider the texture of the foods, and how all of the senses interact with each other. Put yourself in your guests place before they arrive as you mentally walk through your party. I have lots of other ideas that I want to share with you. I also appreciate you trusting me to help you plan the party that will leave your guests clamoring to always be on your guest list.
