Atlantis Multi-Media System for iPod - Review
It was an unexpected early birthday present from one of my best friends, Kerryl. Wow! What a great gift! Kerryl knows how much I love music. It’s pretty obvious by the amount of different input and output devices I have in my office and throughout the house. Thanks, Kerryl. I'm loving it!
The Atlantis Multi-Media System combines several of my digital music devices as well as being an awesome looking piece of equipment.
Black with silver chrome trim and buttons, the top is adorned with black control dials on each side of the button panel. The dials have a blue backlight.
The Atlantis is 10.28” in length by 5.71” in height by 4.25” in width. It weighs 2.76 pounds without batteries or the adapter.
Highlighted Features:
Compatible with iPod®, iPod mini and iPod® nano. Recharge iPod.
USB Music Player: Playback MP3/WMA files (songs). Recharge USB device.
Clock with selectable 12/24 hour format. Alarm clock with Snooze function. Programmable Alarm wakes up to Buzzer/iPod/FM Radio/USB device or SD/MMC card. Sleep to Music Timer.
iPod Video Out: Provides video signal output when iPod® version, with video capability, is docked.
FM Radio Tuner
SD/MMC Card Music Player
Wireless Remote
5 Different Sized iPod Adapters.
Dust Cover for Docking Area
Built-in Subwoofer
Headphone / AV System Out
The Atlantis has so many ways for you to enjoy your playlists. You can hook up a portable CD player, use your iPod, a SD card, a USB player, or just listen to the radio. The sound is great. The speakers are clear with little static even at the highest setting. However, I will warn you that if you are looking for something to blast your house or neighbors, this is not the system for you. It’s perfect for a room or two, but if you want to really belt out the sound, you may need to plug into another audio system.
I love my Atlantis. It's easy to move from room to room and it plays all of my iTunes and MP3s.
