What Lies Ahead Isn't Found In The Past
“What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t happened yet." ~Unknown
We often take for granted the simple things, like a new day. But in reality we only have a limited number of them in our life. We don’t know how many we’ve been assigned by our Maker, so to shrug one off easily would be a shame. Even a bad day is a good day to be alive. Remember that not everyone gets another day. So show God you appreciate the gift of each new day in your life by making the most of it. Take the talents and abilities you have been given and put them to good use for you and especially for others. We were not put here on earth to serve only ourselves. That would be pointless don’t you think?
So, always believe that the best is yet to come, and more often than not you will find that it does.
“One day when we are living out our ‘happily ever after,’ we will laugh at all the people who thought we wouldn’t make it.” ~Unknown
Stay passionate and enthusiastic about life by expecting good things to happen, instead of giving in to fear. Don't be envious of others. Concentrate on the life that God has given you and make the most of it. When we look to our left and right and covet the things that others have it keeps us from fully receiving the blessings that God has specifically for us. Never give up on your dreams. As Max Lucado says, “Believe it and you will see it.”
"She's got style, she's got grace, she's a winner, She's a lady" So always strive to be a lady at all times. It will look good on you.” She’s A Lady ~Tom Jones
The difference between an ordinary woman and an extraordinary woman is their ability to empower themselves in whatever way needed. Self-empowerment is the ability to believe in oneself enough that nothing will stand in their way of becoming all they can be and more. It doesn't mean they don't face obstacles or have setbacks. It simply means they don't allow them to knock them off course. They pick themselves back up and get right back on track. The more you believe it the stronger you get. And the stronger you get the farther you go to arriving at your goal. And once you reach your goal, you set a new goal and keep growing, never allowing yourself to get stagnant or out of touch with who you are. Failure is NOT AN OPTION to the woman God created you to be. Be all you can be and let no one, including you, stand in the way.
“Pursue your dreams until they become your reality.”
We too often forget how short life really is. The older we get the faster it seems to go. So not taking advantage of every day is simply throwing away an opportunity that will never pass our way again. I doubt anyone would say on their last day on earth, “I wish I had done less in my life.” In fact we will all say, “I wish I had done more.” Well there is no time like the present. Just do it!
Life’s journey is full of bumps, detours, misdirection, potholes, and wrong exits, as well as smooth rides, joyful events, friends and family, love, and the freedom of choice. So if you were looking for something different you may be on the wrong planet. Our world is made up of opportunities, roads not taken, and consequences for our actions. And although we don’t have control over everything that happens in our life, we do have control over a lot of it.
The day you stop dreaming of good things to come is the day you stop becoming the woman you want to be. Dreams are a preview of your future. Follow your dreams and they will take you to amazing places.
Every new day is a new opportunity to be all you can be. It’s a chance to learn and grow and increase your self-esteem and confidence. Don’t let the day go by without knowing that you are a little bit stronger and are celebrating your uniqueness.
“Live Every Day as If It's Your Last” ~ Marcus Aurelius
Contrary to this popular quote I think we should live every day as though it were your FIRST. Explore, try new things, be curious, and be alive with newness. Each day is a new canvas for you to throw as many colors as you can on it and go wild with your brush of imagination.
No matter how bad your situation is there is always someone else who would gladly trade places with you. And never wish you had what someone else has: you never know what might go along with it. So, all in all, simply be thankful for what you have.
I've said time and time again that you can become anything you want to be. Now, the question is, what are you willing to do to become that person? The less willing you are, the less chance of you becoming that person. So in the end it's entirely up to YOU. Little effort made; little results achieved. Basically, you will get out of life what you are willing to put into it. The journey and the effort is well worth the end result if you truly want it. Don't let one day go by that you do not grow closer to your goal. Even if it's a small step, it's still one step closer.
"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well" ~Psalm 139:14
One of the best things to do with your mind is to be creative. Come up with ways to ad spice to your life. Ways to make you a better person, a unique person, a person that stands out from the rest. Not necessarily in an odd way but in a better way. Don't be afraid to be different. In fact, create yourself to be looked at as not ordinary but extraordinary.
