Expand Your Mind With Connecticut Museums

Guest Author - Brenda Potter Reynolds

Where can you go to have fun and expand your mind at the same time?

This summer, Connecticut's museums offer a variety of exhibits that will do just that.

The Florence Grisworld Museum in Old Lyme features work by Childe Hassam, including the first public display of one of his paintings.

At the Bruce Museum of Arts and Science in Greenwich, an exhibit titled "Off the Wall" features select pieces from the J.P. Morgan Chase collection.

An exhibit of childhood items will be on display at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford. For more information call (860) 278-2670.

Connecticut has many more activities, cultural and otherwise, to offer this summer. For more information, visit www.ctbournd.org or call 1-800-282-6863.
