Fifty 50 Low Calorie Spreads
Fifty50 is a no sugar added, low calorie spread that is mainly marketed for diabetics. This provides delicious flavor for low carbers and anyone interested in a low sugar lifestyle!
I personally love the raspberry spread, which is sweetened by Nutrasweet. I would much rather it be sweetened by Splenda, but such is life. It has 0g of fat and only 1g of carbs. It uses Sorbitol for additional sweetness, but only 3g so hardly enough to cause trouble for people.
The raspberry flavor is fresh and fruity. Indeed, the primary ingredients here are water and raspberries - the sugar-substitute is only in there to offset the natural tartness of the berry. This is just like with most cranberry or berry products, usually sugar is added to keep the flavor palatable.
Half of the profits from Fifty50 go to diabetes research, so you're supporting a good cause here, too!
I use this for peanut butter and jam sandwiches on low carb bread (with sugar-free peanut butter of course). You could use this for numerous appetizers and snacks, as well as desserts!
Highly recommended :)
