Trace has done it again, with his signature gravely voice, this CD features both ballads and get up on your feet and dance songs.
That cocky smile he has that can melt a woman's heart is evident thru out the CD packaging and on the CD cover. You can almost hear it in some of the songs as you listen to the tracks. Two of Trace's latest hits are featured on the CD, Red Hot Mama, along with Rough & Ready. They are the first and last songs on the CD, but the songs in between are worth listening too also.
I'd Sure Hate to Break Down Here is track 4, but was released and became a hit for Julie Roberts, Trace puts his own stamp of artistry on the song and gives it a different perspective. Then I Wake Up is a song of heart break and how a man can't or won't give up on the love he has for his woman.
The only song I am not crazy about is One Nightstand, the message just doesn't appeal to me. Otherwise I give the CD a big thumbs up.
