Natural Light is the Anheuser Busch low carb beer, at only 3.2g of carbs per can. That's quite low, and the beer is quite smooth!

This isn't a beer that will win awards for its complex, multi-flavored taste. But on the other hand, there are no off flavors, no bad aftertastes. The taste is VERY smooth and easy drinking.

Out of all the beers we tried for our low carb beer reviews, this is one of the only ones available in can-only. We tried to test all beers in bottles to keep the playing feel even, so I'm not sure why Natural Light is a can-only beer. But, that being said, many beers get skunked by having light interact with the beer to damage the beer's flavor. A can is a perfect alternative to that. Plus, a can is lighter so it should be cheaper in terms of shipping cost. Since cans are lined with plastic, there shouldn't be any metal flavor, either. So one might think that all beer should be in cans, rather than in light-allowing glass.

I admit I used to think that a can probably gave a metallic flavor to a beer. However, test after test shows that you really can't tell the difference when tasting them blind. I will put this on my list of things to try for myself :).

If you're hanging out watching the sports channel, and want something to drink while you eat that plate of chicken wings, I'd go for this!
