Josh Lambert hasn’t been the same since saving his son Dalton from the dark forces of the spirit world. Things don’t go any better when the family moves in with Lorraine, Josh’s mom, and the family starts to see figure es roaming the house. But when Lorraine, with the help of the now deceased Elise’s associates, Carl, Specs and Tucker, finds out the truth, will the family be able to survive intact? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Insidious – Chapter 2”.

∙ After being attacked by the female ghost, Renai is unconscious on the floor. When Josh picks her up and puts her on the couch, her head is on the pillow, facing up. It’s still facing up in the overhead view. But when the scene cuts to the side view of the two of them, Renai’s head is slumped against her right shoulder.

∙ Carl is in Parker Crane’s old house. When he asks “Elise, why did you bring us here”, he rolls the dice. In the close-up, the dice are shown (from left to right) as three dice in a row, then two, two more and then four. It cuts to a right side view of Carl just as he picks them up and the dice are shown (from left to right) as two, six and then three in a row.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Near the end of the movie, when Josh is back in his body, Dalton hugs him and puts his arm with the blue sleeve around his dad’s neck. When Elise crawls over to him, the close-up of Josh shows Dalton’s arm is away from his neck. Elise makes the “I should have known it was you” remark and the scene cuts back to the close-up of Josh and Dalton’s arm is back around his neck. It then cuts to a side view as Josh reaches to kiss her and Dalton’s arm is gone again.

“Insidious – Chapter 2” stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, Steve Coulter, Leigh Whannell, Angus Simpson and Danielle Bisutti. It runs 106 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of terror and violence, and thematic elements.
