Coastal Light Low Carb Beer is brewed by the Firestone Walker Brewing Co out of Paso Robles, California. How does it hold up?

Sadly, despite many attempts, I was never able to sample this beer. I live on the east coast and I think that they weren't shipping it that far. I also live in a state with archaic alcohol shipping laws so I couldn't even get it to ship to me as a direct request.

A number of people did enjoy it immensely, and with only 108 calories it filled a need back when it was out in the 2004-2006 time frame.

Unfortunately for Coastal Light, all the other beer makers jumped onto the low carb beer bandwagon and began putting out some fairly tasty options at even lower calories. I imagine the market for this got too hard for it to compete in.

I don't see that Coastal Light is available any more.
