Star Wars - Episode II - Attack Of The Clones

Several years after they first meet, Padme is now a Senator for Naboo while Anakin is part of the Jedi with Obi-Wan Kenobi as his Master. While Obi-Wan tries to track down the forces behind an assassination attempt on her life, Padme embarks on a romance with Anakin that is forbidden by the Jedi Council. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Star War – Episode II – Attack Of The Clones”.

∙ At the beginning of the movie, when Padme’s ship explodes, she leans over an injured Corde. In the first view of her, Padme’s hair falls over both shoulders. But in the very next view of her, Padme’s hair is only over her left shoulder.

∙ When Zam Wessell pulls her gun in the bar and is getting ready to shoot Obi-Wan, a rear view of Anakin shows his braid is on his left although it’s supposed to be on his right. This happens again in the movie when Anakin and Count Dooku are battling in the shadows on Geonosis.

∙ When Obi-Wan is attacked by Jango Fett on the landing platform on Kamino, he drops his lightsaber and it falls close to the edge of the platform. However, when Obi-Wan uses the Force to get the lightsaber back, it’s further away from the edge, out in the open.

∙ Before trouble breaks loose for Anakin and Padme on Geonosis, there is a view of the pair walking along a darkened corridor. When Anakin says “Wait” and the two stop, the side view shows that Anakin’s arms are by his side. In the very next front view, his left arm is across his body in a warning gesture to Padme.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! When they encounter Dooku, an injured Obi-Wan throws his lightsaber to Anakin who catches it in his left hand. But, in the next view, when the battle between Dooku and Anakin begins, Obi-Wan’s lightsaber is now in his right hand.

∙ CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Yoda confronts Dooku in the cave on Geonosis. Dooku sends a canister/fixture that had been attached to the wall, flying towards Yoda. Yoda drops his cane (on his right) and deflects the oncoming attack. In the next wide views of the Yoda and Dooku, the cane is nowhere to be seen on the floor. The cane isn’t seen again until Yoda conjures it after Dooku has escaped.

“Star Wars – Episode II – Attack Of The Clones” stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Christopher Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Frank Oz, Ian McDiarmid, Jimmy Smits and Temuera Morrison. It runs 142 minutes and is rated PG for sustained sequences of sci-fi action/violence.
