Wallpaper for Bathroom
Choosing wallpaper instead of the classical ceramic tile is always an option. You may like flowers and you would like a sweet design for your bathroom – having lots of options, it may be challenging to choose something. Or it can be even difficult if you can not make up your mind.
Even so, designers’ advice is that it is best to keep it simple. Simple is always classy. And you do want a classy bathroom. When you do not choose accordingly, the final result may be something you did not want and this can lead to a frustrated feeling.
So – you want flowers. First of all choose what flowers you like. Be it roses or lilies you can find wallpapers with these flowers on them. Big flowers, or even small ones, you will find a lot of options. Usually, the colors recommended are the light ones – like light pink, or a yellowish white, or pale blue.
If you choose one of these flower wallpapers make sure that the rest of the bathroom is quite simple. You will not need further decorations, because the central piece of the bathroom will be the wallpaper.
Of course, you can always choose one with an abstract design. These are often a little more difficult ‘to digest’ and you will need very few adornments for what is left in the bathroom. With this kind of wallpaper it is recommended that the furniture should be white, and the mirror should have a simple frame.
Another option is to choose simple plain wallpaper. This is something that will let you use whatever else you have in mind – be it decorative curtains, or even a shower curtain in contrast with the wallpaper. Of course, you could use some colored furniture, within the color range of the wallpaper. Just choose the colors according to your desire, but be careful to choose in style.
There are some people that like to have a strong contrast in their bathroom. If you are one of them, the advice is to choose a dominant color and not more than 2 softer tones of the same color. You could use some lighter wallpaper, and decorate the rest of the bathroom with the other 2 colors – the strong one that will catch your eyes first for the furniture, and the other softer tone for other decorations.
