Olympus Has Fallen

Olympus Has Fallen
Mike Banning is the head of the President’s Secret Service detail when an accident changes everyone’s lives. Fast forward a year and a half later and Mike is still working for the Secret Service, except now he’s been transferred from the White House to a desk job at the US Treasury. His boring day changes when a delegation from Korea visits President Benjamin Asher. During the visit, Washington D.C. is attacked and the White House is overtaken by the group led by multinational terrorist, Kang. With Kang holding the President and his staff hostage, it’s up to Mike Banning to rely on his Secret Service skills to find Connor, the President’s son, to take out the bad guys and to save the President from execution. Will he be able to do it? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching the action/adventure flick “Olympus Has Fallen”.

· The morning after the 4th of July, Mike is talking to Secret Service Director Lynn Jacobs. Her coffee cup is on the table in front of her, to her left. Mike has a cup of coffee in his right hand. When he shakes hands with the first agent, the close-up shows he’s not holding a coffee cup. It’s also not in front of him on the table. But when he shakes hands with Agent O’Neal, there is now a coffee cup on the table in front of Mike, near his left arm. The cup is gone again when he mentions he’s working the late shift. The coffee cup is gone again when Agent Jones is introduced. When the guys walk off, Mike picks up the cup with his right hand.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Cerberus is counting down to destruction. The agents are reading the deactivation code to Mike. When they read the code to him, the number given after the backslash ( \ ) is “Niner”, 9. The entire code should be “NIL5OH\9VK#ESF”. But when the code is displayed on the screen, there is an 8 instead of a 9 after the backslash so the code on the screen reads “NIL5OH\8VK#ESF”.

“Olympus Has Fallen” (2013) stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Dylan McDermott, Angela Bassett, Rick Yune, Finley Jacobsen and Ashley Judd. It runs 120 minutes and is rated R for strong violence and language throughout.
