Pirates Of The Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
Captain Jack is back in the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” story. This time around, Jack has a new mission: to find the legendary Fountain of Youth. However, this means he also has a new nemesis in the form of Blackbeard, who happens to be the father of Jack’s old flame, Angelica. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for in this action/adventure!
· Jack and Angelica escape from the guards via a trap door and then swim to safety. When they get out of the water, Angelica grips the handle of her sword and pulls it close to her face. In the very next side view, she does the same thing again!
· Jack is in the hammock and he has the bone in his hair on his right and the beads are on his left. Someone kicks him out to wake him up and when he hits the ground the bone and beads are reversed. When he’s walking in the next shot, they’re back in their original position!
· Jack is talking to Angelica below decks. When she tells him about the prophecy, Jack has a firm grip on the hook with his right hand during the scene. But when she moves in to kiss him, she grabs it from his other side and he’s not holding it anymore.
· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Near the end, when Jack and Angelica are in the row boat talking, the rear view of Angelica shows her hair is pulled down her back. The front view shows her hair is pulled forward, over her shoulders. This happens again when they’re on the island and she tells him she loves him. The rear view shows her hair is pulled back enough to see a clear view of her gold hoop earring and Jack’s hand on her neck. But the front views of her shows her hair pulled down far enough to cover the earring and most of Jack’s hand.
· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! When Jack turns and Angelica tries to hit him with a piece of wood, Jack grabs it from her and tosses it to his right. A moment later, when he says he’d rather “choose the dog”, he tosses the stick away again.
“Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides” (2011) stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Keith Richards, Richard Griffiths and Kevin McNally. It runs 136 minutes and is rated PG-13 for sexual content/nudity, language and some violence.
