Mind, Body, Spirit - The Real You
What’s in your mind? How do you nurture your body? How do you tap into your spirit and your inspiration and aspirations? How’s your relationship with yourself – with your own mind, your body and your spirit? Who is the real YOU?
You are what you think. Your body does what your mind tells it to do. Your spirit helps control both what you think and how you carry it out and also reacts to what you’ve done. That being said, - you - as a living breathing, thinking person have a unique opportunity to merge your mind, your body and your spirit to be whole and to live rightly and to live wholly and to live happily. How you move forward in your relationship with yourself is the single most important determining factor of how your life unfolds. It is what defines who you are…
I know, you’re thinking, but you can’t control the things that happen to you and that’s sometimes true. What you can control, however, is how you react to the things that happen to you. And how you react is part of what defines who you really are …
If you can’t answer these questions, or if your answer to question 3 is a resounding NO, you clearly have to work on your relationship with your spirit. What do you want to project to the world about who you are? Do you think that your body language is projecting that; or if you think about it, are you projecting a completely false image of yourself to the world by how you look and what you do?
Tap into your own feelings about yourself. Focus on your relationship with yourself. You should especially focus on yourself if you find that, after asking yourself these questions, that you are nothing like who you want to be as a whole person, in all ways – in your mind, and your body and your spirit.
You, and only you, can define who you truly are… In reality are you who you think you are? Make friends with the real you – it’s the most important relationship of your life. Every other relationship in your life proceeds based on it, and what you is the one that shows up to participate in each relationship. Get in touch with yourself. Be authentic and hope that everyone you meet is authentic too. You should expect authenticity in every relationship; but you and only you can decide if you want to choose to accept less or not from anyone you interact with in any relationship – including the one that you have with yourself!
Until next time, have a warm heart but be COOL! Be happy, be well, and be the best you that you can be!
Best Regards,
