Mango Pineapple Juicing Shake Recipe
This delicious juicing recipe involves mango, pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and other tropical delights. It's perfect for adding flavor into your daily meal plan.
I list the weights of all the ingredients so you can compare them with your own, and plug yours into the Excel spreadsheet I provide. That way you can get the exact nutritional counts for your version.
Ingredients:
1/2 mango - 106g
1/2 banana - 52g
1/2 ring pineapple - 119g
2 strawberries - 105g
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk - 115g
1 scoop french vanilla whey powder - 26g
1 tsp flax seed - 1g
handful almonds - 18g
handful spinach - 27g
bowl ice
Start with the wetter ingredients. Put the mango, banana, pineapple, and strawberry into the blender. Pour in the unsweetened coconut milk. Add in the french vanilla whey powder. Sprinkle in the flax seed and almonds. Top with the spinach. Add in the ice on the very top.
Hit the whole juice button and let it go! It should blend nice and smooth.
This is not a "sweet" shake - it's sort of tart, like pineapple juice is. You might want to add agave nectar or stevia to it if you have a sweet tooth. I enjoy it just as it is.
The nutrition for a pint-glass serving is:
calories: 222.8g
fat: 6.2g
cholesterol: 25g
sodium: 37mg
total carbs: 30.5g
fiber: 4.9g
net carbs: 25.6g
protein: 11g
vitamin C: 111%
So lots of healthy vitamin C there for you! You're getting vitamin C from a lot of items in here - the mango, pineapple, strawberry, and even the spinach. So this is great for maintaining good health. Vitamin C is just so good for you, and it's best to take it in its natural form vs in pill form.
