BI YEARLY JOBS:

Clean kitchen cupboards; scrub kitchen floor (this is major scrub not just a mop job); Clean kitchen and laundry appliances - inside and out; clean out kitchen drawers (always suprised at the amount of crumbs that manage to get in them!); Scrub kitchen counters; clean wastebaskets; vacuum furniture; move furniture and vacuum under (we actually have to do this monthly because our couches eat everything!); clean wall fixtures and plugs; polish wood furniture; clean and oil bikes; vacuum intake vents; scrub entry and laundry floors; wash bedroom windows; clean laundry cupboards; clean out bedroom drawers; vacuum closet floors; wash rugs; clean window sills and crevices; clean light fixtures/lamp bulbs; wash front room/ kitchen windows and doors; clean vacuum; caulk shower/tub/toilet; clean shower/bath walls; clean bath drains/faucets/towel racks; scrub bath floors; take a family portrait; vacuum baseboards; clean venetian blinds/wood slats; decobweb corners and ceilings; dust shutters/picture frames; dust books/shelves;


YEARLY JOBS:

Preparing your yearly calendar can help you start the year off organized and ready to accommplish things; Get your birthday cards made/purchased for the year with a few extra's just in case; get special occasion (anniversary, get well, thank you, etc) cards together; Inventory home storage (food, pantry essentials, cleaning supplies, etc.); Plan summer activities and jobs for the children; purchasing school supplies; Purchase/sew/mend/ school clothing (if you plan for it in advance you can make sure the funds are available for it when you need it); Review (& update if needed) insurance (vehicle, property, etc.; prepare Christmas/Holiday cards; purchase gifts (make a list of who and what and you can work on it all year. Use letters on the gifts after you wrap them. Have the letters (or numbers) correspond to family members. Only YOU know who it goes to - so you don't have to worry about peekers!!); calendar Christmas Event Traditions; Set family goals; Cook and freeze Christmas treats. Clean your fire extinguisher; clean smoke detectors; vacuum drapes/blinds/slats; Clean out closets; clean freezer (some need to be defrosted); turn mattresses; vacuum lampshades; wash blankets (at end of season when you are getting ready to store them); wash mattress pads; wash bed spreads; buy stamps; touch up paint wall surfaces; make repairs on different areas in home; and other cleaning jobs.

These are just a few of the jobs that you can schedule ahead of time. When you know what you are going to do and when you are going to do it your life can be a bit more smooth and a lot less stressful!
