Office 365 Home Premium is a subscription based service from Microsoft that provides home users the new version of Office with additional services that complement or enhance the Office suite. Many of the services are geared to allow anytime / anywhere access to MS Office and data files across a range of devices.

Included with the subscription is MS Office 2013 (current version), Skype, SkyDrive, Office on Demand and access to newest version of MS Office when released. Each feature is explained in the sections below.

Office 365 Features:

MS Office 2013 and Latest Office Applications

Included with the subscription is the most current version of MS Office which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher and Access for both the PC and the Mac. When a new version is released it will be available for download at no additional cost to the subscriber.

When a new version of Office is released the subscriber will be notified and will be able to update software the newest version.

Skype

Another feature included in Office 365 is 60 free Skype world minutes each month which can be used to call over 40 countries from any device that supports Skype.

Office on Demand

With Office on Demand the subscriber can stream full versions of Office applications to a PC that is connected to the Internet and is running either Windows 7 or Windows 8.

SkyDrive - Anywhere File Access

Access any file or document from virtually any device, including PC, phone, Mac or iPad, with the included 20GB SkyDrive online storage account.

Documents stored in SkyDrive can also be viewed and edited with Office WebApps in the browser on any supported device that is connected to the Internet and is using a browser that is supported.

Easier to Install

There is no media, box or visit to a store to purchase. All that is needed is an Internet connection and a computer then you just download and install and you are ready to go. It is that easy!

File Compatibility

Since the subscription to Office 365 allows the installation of Office on up to five devices (including Macs) in the same household everyone can be on the same Office suite which helps maintain file compatibility between family members.

Range of Devices

Office applications can be installed on a range of devices including a PC, Mac or Windows tablet. The Office Mobile apps are supported on Windows phones or via a browser.

Manage Office Subscription Online

The subscription service is centrally managed online via the My Account page. From My Account subscribers can change billing information, install Office and manage Skype minutes.
