Gift Ideas for Women RVers

Gift Ideas for Women RVers
If you’re searching for a gift for that special lady RVer in your life, you probably couldn’t go too wrong with a gift certificate to Camping World, Walmart or her favorite chain restaurant. Those kinds of gifts come in handy for gals on the go. However, there are plenty of other gifts that she might appreciate even more that are budget-friendly and sure to please.

Holiday Themed
Does your special lady love to bake? Especially during the holidays? Then you might want to stuff some festive RV shaped cookie cutters in her Christmas stocking. There are several places that you can order them online, including these awesome Class C motorhome shaped ones from Orange Novelty Cake Supplies for only $1.99 each.

Appliances
Sure, there are plenty of jokes about the insensitive husband who buys his wife a washing machine for Christmas. But in reality, RVers love anything that makes the RVing life easier, and there are plenty of women RVers who like getting practical gifts. Two appliances that I wouldn’t be without on any RV trip include my Oster hand blender and my Bissell Perfect Sweep Turbo. Both are space-saving appliances, and do their jobs so well I wish I could pay them a salary.

Travel Guitar
Does your special RVer have a musical gene? Do you wish you could see her strumming along with the others musicians at music jams? Then a travel guitar would make a great holiday gift. Not only are they extremely portable, but you can find them for relatively inexpensive prices--especially on Craigslist. Many of them, like the Martin nylon string backpacker acoustic travel guitar, pack a ton of great sound in a compact guitar.

Travel Memoirs
Whether she has an Amazon Kindle or prefers paperbacks, your special RVer probably loves to get cozy in her favorite recliner and take armchair adventures. If you want to send her on a great escape, travel memoirs are the way to go. She’ll probably get a kick out of the RV travel memoir Queen of the Road: The True Tale of 47 States, 22,000 Miles, 200 Shoes, 2 Cats, 1 Poodle, a Husband, and a Bus with a Will of Its Own by author Doreen Orion. For more details about this book, read my review about it here.

For adventure with an international flair, try the book Halfway to Each Other: How a Year in Italy brought our Family Home by Susan Pohlman. I also wrote a review on this book which you can read by following this link.

And for some ocean adventures, two fabulous sailing memoirs include Motion of the Ocean: 1 Small Boat, 2 Average Lovers, and a Woman's Search for the Meaning of Wife by Janna Cawrse Esarey and An Embarrassment of Mangoes: A Caribbean Interlude by Ann Vanderhoof.
