A Short Cut Can Give You A Sense Of Confidence
Going through Cosmetology school I ran into the same problem most girls run into; school hair. The term school hair is when you over process your hair to the point of no return or you have a friend in school who did not perfect their cutting skills and you have to cut it shorter to fix it. At first I was dishearten that my long beautiful hair was gone but after getting it cut I realized that I liked my short hair. I though some how that cutting off my hair would make me less of a woman. Instead, I found confidence in myself.
Short hair on women can make them feel more assertive, outgoing, and confident. A shorter cut does not need to look boyish. When styled right it can look glamorous, chic, and sexy. There are a few things to consider before taking the plunge and cutting it all off into a pixie cut.
First, look into a mirror and pull your hair back. Be honest with yourself and comment on what you would like to accentuate in your face. Shorter cuts will show off the face, shoulders, collarbone, jaw line, and neck. It is a lovely way to accentuate these areas of the body.
Next, you need to realize that you will have to keep up with the cut. Shorter hair needs to be cut at least every six weeks to keep the shape of it. Find a hair stylist that is the right fit for you because you will need to trust that your stylist will cut the right style for your face.
Consider your face shape. Each face shape will wear different short cuts. Round faces you want to have height on top to elongate the face. Square and heart face shapes can wear almost any short cut. Long face shapes need width on the sides to widen the face or a bang to shorten the face. What we try to do is create the illusion of an oval face with a hair style.
