Tee Parties

Tee Parties
I received a book titled ‘Tee Parties’ by Peg Nikoden which is filled with everything you want to know about organizing a golf tournament for your Ladies Organization. You will be delighted by this book it is a hard cover with an inside ring binder including heavy paper pages. This is a well designed book for any golf program director looking for ideas for their upcoming tournaments. I am sure many ladies golf organization have nominated their committees for next year and if your program director has the duties of planning your tournaments for next year this book is for you.

The theme section was interesting to me having put on several tournaments with a theme and ladies really enjoy them. Peg’s suggestions for themes covers the biggest section of the book for instant the Bugs and Butterflies Theme covers suggestions for invitations, decorations, favors, menu, format and prizes. There are twenty seven themes listed in this book anyone should find something that would interest their ladies group.

The recipes caught my interest having published a cook book so I had great fun checking them out. From the first one listed Berry Cookie Cobbler I am using something like this for an event I am working on only we used dry cake mix so I know it is delicious. As for the next one Zucchini Bread just baked a good recipe for Carrot Pineapple Cake also good. Anything that deals with chocolate I drool over. There are so many good sounding recipes it is worth the price of the book. That brings me up to the cost of 194 page book. The price is $25.95 plus $5.00 shipping. Find the book on line by a search of teeparties.com. The book was published by Minors Printing Company from Boone, North Carolina. The colorful drawings are by Peg’s granddaughter Wesley Allsbrook which I also enjoyed it makes a great addition to this Tee Parties book.
