Here is a product review of the Quick Shine Floor Finish product. On the bottle it says, "QUick Shine Floor finish gives your floors an instant, deep, rich glow - quick and easy! It is a premium product developed from advanced polymer technology and was specifically formulated for gloss and durability in high traffic areas such as schools, churches and hospitals. So don't just clean it, Quick Shine it!


I went to the store to purchase a product that would help my floors shine a bit more. They were clean - but they just didn't seem sparkly any more. This was the least expensive product on the shelf that day. I have heard that Mop and Glo isn't good for your floors, as it has to be scraped off if you want to have your floor professionally cleaned (not that THAT was in my future.) So, I knew that I didn't want to try that. I was looking for something that would make floor look GOOD for longer than the moment that I mopped! I hate that!


It also states on the bottle that it "protects and shines hardwood, tile, vinyl, marble, linoleum, no-wax, and most other hard surface flooring. Not recommended for unsealed/worn wood floors. Try first in unobtrusive spot."


The directions tell you to "squirt it on a clean, dry floor. Spread evenly with a freshly rinsed sponge mop. It dries to a gloss in 15-30 minutes. After floor is completely dried, additional coats can be applied if a higher gloss is desired."


Honestly, it was that easy. I am so impressed. My floor looks fabulous and it wasn't back breaking work. It was fairly easy (my floor was already cleaned). I didn't have to worry about spreading it in exactly the same direction or risk having lines running through my floor. (yes, previous product was that 'finicky'.) I just used my sponge mop and squirted the bottle of finish out on to my floor an area at a time. It has completely dried and there is a sheen on my floor that has been missed. I think for the Holidays I will put two or three coats on it to make it look FABULOUS, but for every day use I will just do the one coat.


I also wouldn't recommend using the finish on it with every mopping. You need to mop with your favorite (non stripping) floor cleaner as often as usual and maybe only every 3-4 weeks use the floor finish.


This product is definitely one that I will recommend for others to use on their floors.
