Product Review - JAWS Cleaner
I have had the opportunity to test out a new product called JAWS (just add water system) Cleaners. When the product arrived at my home the spray bottles were empty and I was quite skeptical. However, the directions were easy to follow and it took no time at all to get started!
The first thing about the product that I noticed (after the emptiness of the spray bottle) was the white plastic attached to the bottle - inside that were two cylinders. What these are are the actual cleaning product. You fill up the spray bottle to the line (clearly marked on the label of the bottle) with water. Then you slide the cylinder into the spray bottle. As you put the nozzle in you can feel a slight give and then you can see the 'color' wash down into the water. It was quite the "experiment" and kept my children entertained for quite a while Just watching it mix together.
Another thing that I noticed was there was no chemical smell. It wasn't a strong odor and it just smelled 'clean'. No strong odors are good with a son who is very asthmatic and allergy-ridden. Trust me. This was a plus in my book.
Once I started using the product I noticed how easily it cleans what it says it cleans. The Disinfectant Cleaner Degreaser (green) actually cut through the vegetable oil spillage on the stove top after frying up taco's. It didn't leave streaks on the surface, either. The Bathroom Cleaner/Deodorizer (purple) worked like a charm in the bathroom. It left a fresh smell that was pleasant and not overwhelming. My 12 year old took the Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner and used it on our Arcadia door in the kitchen. This door lets in a great deal of light and she was able to clean with out a problem. We have dogs outside and it wiped up their nose and scratchings at the base of the glass with any trouble. I used it on our mirrors and glass and I love the no streaks! The Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser (orange) worked equally as well as the other products.
I love how simple the refill is - you don't need go out and purchase a whole new bottle. You just buy the "super-concentrated cleaning cartridge" and your done. Good for the environment and a great cleaner to boot! I was nervous at first that the "pretty colors" were going to attract my young children. I purposely left them (all four together) on top of my counter and not one of them bothered them. So, the colors were any more attractive than other cleaning products for my children. This is a plus in my book!
I definitely recommend this product to everyone - especially those looking ways to be more green and for those with allergies. While I did receive the product FREE, this article reflects my true opinion on this product!
At Phoenix Bashas' now until Nov. 14, JAWS is $1 off. It's regularly $4.99 and is on sale for $3.99.
Make it a great one!
