Opening the Package - Biggest Loser SlimCoach
Just what do you get when you receive your brand new Biggest Loser SlimCoach? We've done this three times now. We're fairly familiar with what is in this package.
You get the device itself. The photo here is our white one but we have a black one as well. It comes with a belt clip so you hang it on your hip in pedometer mode. There's a tie which then connects the clip to your pants. That way if the clip manages to fall off when you run, it doesn't go far.
There's a micro-USB cable to connect the unit to your computer. You HAVE to sync the device to your computer, and have an internet connection, to use any of its data. There's no way to see any data on the unit itself.
There's a slim user manual.
And then there's your "get started" card with your personal ID. This is what connects you to the SlimCoach website and lets you create an account. I've heard from someone who got a package without that card, so if you don't have the card, you absolutely need to contact them and let them know. You need that card to do anything at all.
That's it. There's no software or anything else here. The way you get software is to download it from their website. So again, you absolutely need an internet connection for this to work. There's no way for it to work without that internet connection.
You shouldn't plug your unit in until you download the software. So make sure you read the instructions and do that software download first. Only when they tell you to plug in your device should you then connect it to the USB cable and connect that to your computer.
If you have any questions at all about any of the items that come in the SlimCoach package, please let me know. Post in the forums and we'll be happy to help out!
