Saint Patrick's Day Patterns
Happy Saint Patrick's Day! If you live in the U.S.A., then you probably know about the tradition of wearing green or getting pinched. It's a very American tradition that according to some stories was meant as a reminder that wearing green keeps you invisible to leprechauns.
These patterns provide a little bit of green to wear. The bracelets are in odd count peyote. I recommend starting from the center and working out. That centers the design and allows you to make them shorter or longer at the ends. The patterns are separate files and set up to print the length of a page.
The pins can be done in brick stitch or odd count peyote. The advantage to brick stitch is that it's a firmer stitch. Peyote can go a lot quicker. It's your choice.
My favorite green in Delica beads is DB-148 Transparent Silver-Lined Christmas Green. DB-152 Kelly Green Transparent Rainbow is also a wonderful bright choice. For a more subtle and elegant green, DB 1207 Olive Transparent Silver Lined might be just right.
I have an e-book with several knotwork patterns available in PDF format here on BellaOnline- Knotwork Patterns or in my Etsy Store, the Etsy store also has several other patterns you may be interested in.
